Mac OS X 10.5 is advertised as the premier platform for Ruby on Rails development. The Rails framework and several related tools now come bundled with the operating system.  Additional features have been added to Mac OS X 10.5 Server to aid in the hosting and deployment of Ruby on Rails applications.

Joe briefly covered the history of developing and deploying Ruby on Rails applications using Mac OS X and demonstrate some of the new Rails-specific features of Mac OS X 10.5.
